Our very favorite holiday in the whole wide world has come and gone. And it was a great couple of days! I will let the pictures do most of the talking :)
We watched as many fireworks as possible. Went to the small-town Lewiston parade as per tradition. We enjoyed all the yummy food that a summer barbecue has to offer, spent wonderful, quality, enjoyable time with family making new and memorable memories. We topped the night off with another firework show accompanied by some awesome music that so perfectly explains why our beautiful country is so great.
I cannot even express how much I love the 4th of July. I love everything about it from the time of year, the weather, the memories both past and present, the family experiences, the candy, the fireworks, the feeling that my heart gets every time I hear Rodney Atkins "It's America", Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA", etc., the barbecues, and the knowledge that I have of how blessed I am to live in a country where my freedoms were fought so hard for by those before me. We are so blessed to live in this wonderful country! Happy 4th of July! Best holiday ever!
