After months of waiting and thinking/wondering what it would be like to say goodbye to life in Logan, and we finally made the big move and are on to our next adventure!
It is hard because part of me was so sad to leave family and friends behind, but the other part of me was ready to get it over with. There would be times when we were with family, and I would get so sad because I knew that our lives wouldn't be like this in a short while. We wouldn't be able to drive 5 minutes-1.5 hours to see any of our families whenever we wanted. I couldn't just head over to my parent's house when I was bored while Scott was working.
Scott left a couple days earlier than I because he and his dad were driving the truck and trailer down to Texas. They left Saturday August 23rd early in the morning. I was able to have a little more time with family. Sunday night I said goodbye to the rest of our family, and headed to SLC to stay the night with Toni and my mom. And then we said our goodbyes Monday morning, August 25th, at the airport.
Obviously goodbyes are the hardest part. Ugh. Even thinking about it right now is heart-wrenching. I hated it. It was hard for me to say goodbye to everyone, but the hardest part was watching everyone say goodbye to Kaiser. Even though Scott and I don't get to see our families/friends on a regular basis, we can still keep in contact with them. But it's hard for Kaiser to do that since he's so little and doesn't really get what's going on.

I really don't know what else to say other than I am so grateful for our family and friends. We are so blessed to have such wonderful amazing people in our lives. Without these amazing people (both pictured and not pictured) it would not have been so difficult to say our goodbyes. I knew it would be so hard to do, but didn't anticipate all the tears I poured out doing so. Heartbreaking pretty much sums it up.
