So Thursday, May 28th, Scott and I were sitting on the couch and happened to come across the Red Sox vs Rangers game. They were playing in Arlington and I jokingly said to Scot that it would be so much fun to go to a game. He said, "well let's go then!" So that was that!
We looked into tickets and we found some pretty cheap seats and that was that! It's always been a dream of mine to watch the Red Sox play and even though it wasn't in Fenway, I love the Rangers too so it was a win win for me.
The drive to Arlington is about 3 hours North of College Station so we went during Kaiser's nap and got to the game in perfect time. Globe Life Park, where the Rangers play, was so beautiful! We walked in and there was literally not a bad seat in the place. There is just something so wonderful about walking in to the ball park and seeing the field for the first time. It's so magical for me!
Kaiser did so well and thoroughly enjoyed the game! The Red Sox ended up getting shut out by the Rangers 8-0, but the game was fun and the experience was totally worth it. It was fun to see some of the players in real life! David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, Josh Hamilton, Mike Napoli, etc. It was so much fun!
