My mom was able to come out to Texas to take care of us after the baby came. We were so lucky to get her to ourselves for a couple of weeks! We picked her up from the Houston airport on March 10th. We were so happy to see her!
I was hoping to be induced on my due date, which was March 11th, but my doctor is in surgery all day that day so we had to wait until the following Monday the 14th. So we made the best of the time we had together with my mom in town!
On March 11, we went and got "due date donuts" just like we did with Kaiser.
Honestly, since it's been a while since I blogged, I can't really remember much else of what we did before the baby came.
The night before we had the baby, however, I remember we had a movie night with grandma. She brought us the movie "The Good Dinosaur" to keep and we were so excited to see it. So of course since grandma was in town, we had to pop some popcorn!
We had a good last night before we met sweet baby boy. Perfect night spent with our family. Little did we all know our lives would be forever changed the next day. But changed in the best way!
