Our hospital stay

We got up to the Mom/Baby floor at about 4:00 am on July 1st.  My awesome coworkers had decorated my room so cute!  They made this sign because they know that our little boy's name was going to start with a "K" but that's all we told them. 

This is the cute sign above my bed :)

And the sign on my door... We got the "Taj Mahal" room, which is MB11.  

My awesome friend and coworker Sharilyn bathed him for us :)  This picture was a good one at showing a little bit of his cone head

He loved getting his hair washed :)

And then he was handed off to his proud daddy :)

He LOVED his hands by his face.  There's no doubt that that's where he had them while inside of me :)

I absolutely LOVE this picture.  We are all so tired, but so proud and so in love :)

We were only able to get a tiny bit of sleep during our stay.  Definitely not much though.  Scott was surprised at how little sleep you get while you're at the hospital. He thought that once the baby was born, you were left alone to rest!  Funny...

And Scott changed a diaper for the first time :)  He's a diaper changing champ!

We had a lot of visitors come visit us!  Our family and friends are the best!

We left the hospital the next afternoon--July 2, 2013.  Our 2 year anniversary!  This is me getting him dressed!

Kaiser needed just a little bit of TLC after we strapped him in :)

....and off we go!  Our adventure officially begins...

We weren't scared, or anxious to leave.  We were just tired, and ready to go home and get some rest.  We were excited to begin our new lives as parents and a bigger family.
