On June 29th, our family along with Scott's family went to the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base that comes every two years! This was the first year in many that everyone was able to make it to the show since Scott and Connor were on missions. It was a super hot day, but it was well worth it!
We saw a lot of awesome planes flying around that did some sweet tricks in front of us. Kaiser was loving every minute of the airplanes and pointing at all of them the whole time. After we watched the planes for a while, everyone decided to walk around the grounds and look at all the boy eye candy...
Kaiser did so great! He was a trooper the whole time, even in the heat of the day. He stayed awake without a nap for a good 7.5-8 hours! Right as the Thunderbirds were getting ready for take off, Kaiser got a little fussy and fell asleep right on my shoulder. Precious little boy...
It was too hot for me to snuggle him while we finished watching the show, so we ended up laying him on the floor on a padded blanket under an umbrella. He was conked out the entire rest of the show and even after. I was so glad we had the ear phones because the Thunderbirds were super loud, and he didn't seem to be bothered by it at all!
So glad we could go and make these awesome memories with our Perkes/Parsons family!
