4 Months!

Wow! Kaiser is 4 months old now!!

I can't believe how fast the time is going!

He had his 4 month check-up on November 6th, and he is a healthy, happy, fast-growing baby!

Here are his stats:

Weight:  15 pounds 13 ounces -- 60th percentile

Height:  25 1/2 inches -- 60th percentile

Head:   42 1/2 cm --50th percentile

He normally would have had 4 shots--but his doctor was nice and gave him a shot called "Pentacel."  This had 3-in-1, so that was really nice!  Here's the before and after:

Poor baby.  But he only cried for about a minute or so, and then went to sleep.  When he woke up he was his happy little self.  He played to his hearts content all day :)  Such a good baby!

Here are some fun things about Kaiser:

-Clicks his tongue with his mouth open--it's so cute!

-Laughed for the first time on Tuesday, October 8th

-Rolled over from tummy to back for first time on Wednesday October 16th

-Rolled from back to tummy on October 26th

-Loves books

-Sleeps for about 9.5-11 hrs a night

-Loves bath time and loves splashing

-Has started holding up his own bottle

-Still loves to be naked

-Grabs his feet and holds onto them

-Plays with his toes all the time

-Loves to see himself in the mirror

-Loves to be in his jumper

-He has started scratching things

-He stares at the tv.  He loves watching football and baseball :)

-Is doing much better in his car seat

-Sticks his fingers and fists his mouth
-Loves the vacuum

-Drools constantly

-Is moving constantly

-Always has a smile to give, even if he is tired

-Sticks his hands out to grab toys/objects rather than swats at them

-Doesn't want to miss anything!

-He will only take 30-40 minute naps.  Occasionally he will take longer.  Once in a blue moon :)

-He still rubs his eyes when he is tired

-He loves to watch little kids

-He sits up with little assistance

-Rarely cries, unless he is sleepy or hungry

-Sits well in his bumbo.  Sometimes when we get him out, his legs get stuck

-He wears size 3 diapers

-His hair is so long and cute.  Scott wants to cut it but I can't bring myself to do it yet

-He wears some 0-3 month clothes still, but mostly he is in 3-6 months clothes
