Jana and Bethany came out to visit us the first week in April! They were awesome to come when they did because Scott was going to be out of town presenting at his APA conference in Arizona.
So not only did they not get a chance to spend time with Scott, they came out specifically to help me and to meet Koen and play with Kaiser, which I was so grateful for!
It was so nice to have them around to help out with the boys and to give me a little bit of a break. We did all things "boys." Life was about them (Kaiser) and it was so great because I didn't have to feel stressed to entertain them or anything. It was lovely.
We played at the Eidelweiss Park one day and took kites to fly. Kaiser was in heaven because he was getting a lot of attention that he definitely needed. They also went out and bought some games, and bubbles, and chalk, and other things to entertain Kaiser. It was fabulous. We spent a lot of time at the field by our house kicking the soccer ball, and blowing bubbles. we also took the boys to the splash pad. Kaiser had a blast because Bethany got out and played with him and gave him one on one attention.

When they left I felt so sad! Not only did we have the best time chatting and reconnecting, but Kaiser had so much fun being able to spend time with them playing. With us not knowing where we would be moving to, it was uncertain when we would be able to see Aunt Bethany again so we were all super sad and emotional to see them go.
